Nature Walks and Mendocino Woodlands Activities
The location of Scandia Camp in the Mendocino Woodlands, just Northeast of the town of Mendocino and the impressive Mendocino coastline, offers many opportunities to experience nature. Campers can enjoy and learn about this unique and beautiful area in the redwoods. There are many hiking trails in the Woodlands, including a hike up to the Big Tree (the remains of an old growth redwood), a trail around the beaver pond and many others. The Woodlands naturalist may lead some informative nature walks during the week. |
